Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information provided on our website and online booking system, however the Anchor Inn accepts no liability for any errors or omissions. All prices are correct at the time of publishing.

Check in

Check in is available from 2pm until 10pm.

Check out

On your day of departure please vacate your room by 11am.

Breakfast

A continental breakfast is included within the price of your room. A full English breakfast is available for an additional fee, please book this in advance.

Extra beds

On request we can provide an additional bed in our rooms for children. These may not be full sized beds and, therefore, may not be suitable for some older children. If you are in doubt about their suitability please call us on 01892 770 424 for advice before booking.

Smoking

All of our rooms are non-smoking. Any guests found smoking in our bedrooms will be asked to leave and an additional cleaning charge may be made.

Pets

You are welcome to stay with your dog in our Piglet bedroom. We ask that your dog does not go onto the bed and that you provide a basket or suitable bed for them to sleep in. A charge will be added to your bill for the additional cleaning required.

Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate pets in any other bedrooms with the exception of assistance dogs.

Wifi

We provide free wifi throughout the pub however we cannot guarantee the speed of connection as this can vary depending on your location within the pub and the number of other guests using the wifi. If you have any difficulties accessing it please speak to a member of our team.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel your booking or shorten your stay then the following refund will be provided:

  • If you let us know at least 14 days before your stay – 100% refund
  • If you let us know between 14 and 7 days before your stay – 50% refund
  • If you let us know between 7 and 3 days before your stay – 25% refund

No refunds will be made for cancellations within 2 days of the start of your stay.

If your booking is not cancelled but you do not arrive on the first day of your booking (a “no show”) then no refund will be made. We reserve the right to make the room available for booking by other guests for the remainder of your stay.

If we cancel a reservation for reasons beyond our reasonable control (including, but not limited to, fires, floods, disasters, acts of God, labour disputes, strikes, or on the order of governmental authorities) or due to any delay in essential repairs to the Anchor Inn, we may cancel your reservation without incurring further liability of any nature. In these circumstances you will receive a full refund.

Access to rooms

Please note that all our bedrooms are upstairs and we do not have a lift to the upper floor. However we are always happy to help carry your luggage.

Fire evacuation procedures

Our fire evacuation procedures are clearly displayed in each bedroom. We encourage all guests to familiarise themselves with the emergency exits in case of the highly unlikely event that they are needed. If you require any assistance in the event of a fire please inform a member of our team upon arrival.

Inappropriate conduct

We operate a family-friendly pub in a peaceful village location. We ask that you respect our team and other guests. By staying with us you agree to abide by these terms.

Please refrain from using any electric cooking equipment in the rooms (eg toasters or portable grills) or lighting candles due to the risk of fire.

If we believe that your conduct is inappropriate or likely to cause harm/discomfort to any of our team or any other guests then we reserve the right to ask you to leave. No refunds will be made in these circumstances.

We will charge you, either during or after your stay, for any damage done to our property.
